Clinical Psychotherapy with Alison
Is anxiety interfering with your daily life?
Do you feel you oscillate between feeling completely self-confident to thinking that you will never measure up to others?
Talking Therapy can help.
Emotional issues are caused by, or result from, relationship difficulties – whether with people, food, work or even the world at large.
My own journey as a therapist has been informed by my studies of Psychology, Psychosexual Therapy and an MSc at UCL in Psychoanalytical Studies. My brief psychodynamic training, integrated into my full psychotherapy accreditation, enables me to support and guide you with an understanding of your full story.
I have been treating clients in private practice for over 18 years in a co-creational atmosphere that has successfully helped them understand and de-code the problems and challenges they are facing.
My first session with new clients is complimentary to allow us to fully explore if we are right to work together, I will happily refer you to a colleague if we feel the ‘fit’ is not correct.
My client base includes:
The anxieties of an individual
A person of all life stages – facing challenges with loneliness, worry and isolation.
A person having low self-esteem and self doubt.
A person wrestling with a career change.
A person facing a life changing scenario.
A person who has difficulty in balancing their work and life.
A person constantly seeking reassurance.
