Trauma Therapy and Psychotharapy with Kate

I’m a BACP-registered psychotherapist offering in-person therapy in Primrose Hill for adults experiencing anxiety, stress, grief and loss, and relationship difficulties.

You may be struggling with a partner, caught in difficult family dynamics, overwhelmed at work, or simply finding that anxiety, overthinking or old patterns are taking up too much space. You might know exactly what you’d like to explore, or maybe something just doesn’t feel right anymore, and you’re not sure what.

My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative. It’s always tailored to meet you where you are and moves fluidly around your capacity at any given point. We notice your thoughts and reflect on your beliefs, and track how your body responds to emotions. This allows every part of your unique way of being to receive attention and care.

Where it’s helpful, I also share practical ways to work with nervous system dysregulation. Easing intense anxiety and overwhelming stress aims to offer more steadiness, clarity, and emotional balance.

I bring an integrated approach to my work, and draw upon several therapy models. These include attachment-based, mindfulness-oriented and somatic approaches, alongside specialist training in complex stress and developmental trauma.
